"Municipalities as integrators and coordinators
in adaptation to climate change"

Shooting of the five short video film started

In the frame of the project we introduce the whole pilot process from designing the NWRMs to the physical implementation by shooting short videos on the pilot sites. In winter 2018 we started to prepare these video films and according to our plans we finalize them by summer 2020. These videos will provide a comprehensive picture of the natural water retention solutions. Moreover, the films will show how these measures could be integrated into the local water management system. Through the videos we could also get to know the problems of the five pilot sites during the implementation from the point of view of the related municipalities and local stakeholders. The representatives of the municipalities, as well as those living in the settlements will be interviewed in the films.

On the first shooting day the video crew recorded the present state of Bátya and Püspökszilágy. Here are two previews of the aerial views of the two settlements in the below videos

(Bátya: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2ZcjnWCht8,

Püspökszilágy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3yUVdmEgaI).

In the video of Bátya we can see the location of the clay-pit which will become a wetland habitat after the implementation. In the video of Püspökszilágy we can see the Szilágyi-stream and its lower and upper water catchment areas.

The preparation of the project film will continue in the spring of 2019 by recording the present state of Ruzsa, Rákócziújfalu and Tiszatarján.
