Symbolism of the project logo
We created our logo with the intention to represent all of the basic values what determinates the LIFE-MICACC project: water, partnership and harmony between people and nature.
The logo is intended to portray the naturalness, the using of the nature-close solutions and the opportunities provided by the nature. The logo illustrates a water drop which is hold by a leaf to symbolize the Natural Water Retention Measures (NWRM). The vein divides the letter into ten parts, representing the cooperation of the ten partners in the frame of the project. The handshake is the symbol of the partnership in which the project is implemented.
Water is essential to life, a natural treasure what we must protect together. Our relationship with water is changing all the time. During floods we want to get rid of it to prevent its negative impact. During droughts we crave for it, hope to save us from destruction. As a result of climate change, it may seem that the balance between humans and nature is broken, due to the unpredictability of the negative impacts of the climate change come to the fore.
The goal of the LIFE-MICACC project is to create harmony between people and nature and reduce the climate change-related hazards and the exposure to it by natural solutions.
By choosing a close-to-nature approach to water retention, we can successfully adapt together the challenges of the present and the future as well.
Partnership is important for us, which is also highlighted in our logo, symbolizing the joint efforts to secure our future.
