"Municipalities as integrators and coordinators
in adaptation to climate change"
Between 9 February 2021and 31 March 2021, we conducted another online survey on natural water retention measures within the framework of the LIFE-MICACC project. This time we asked domestic municipalities about the climatic problems regarding water they face, the frequency with which they occur in their municipalities, and the extent to which natural water retention measures are known as a possible way of municipal adaptation among Hungarian local governments. The questionnaire was also designed to gauge interest in the field visits that will take place in the summer/autumn of 2021. Nearly 440 municipalities completed the survey, which shows the importance of the topic and the interest of municipalities in it. The responses to the questionnaire have been summarised in a short report, available in the Documents Library of the website.
