Nearly 700 seedlings were planted in Bátya as a part of a greening campaign

On Marc 11, 2020 the Municipality of Bátya organized a tree planting event, during which nearly 700 saplings were planted at the pilot site. On the planting event, the Ministry of Interior, the Association of Climate-Friendly Municipalities, the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature Hungary Foundation and the Municipality of Ruzsa also participated, supporting their project partner. As a part of the event, the Municipality of Bátya organized a team-building training for the colleagues working in the Mayor's Office, with the staff of the Civil Guard and enthusiastic members of the settlements representative board. The 6th and 8th grade students at the local elementary school took on a small part of the work, and the whole kindergarten visited the area for a walk. The Municipality of Bátya would like to express a grateful thank you to everyone involved in the work.
